Description

No 62A is a mid-19th century house located on the northwest side of High Street. It is built of red brick and features a stone string-course, an elaborate brick and stone eaves cornice, and a parapet. The house has a slate roof and stands two storeys tall with three windows. The first-floor windows are round arches with keyblocks and moulded imposts, while the ground floor has flat brick arches, all of which are sashes with glazing bars. The central doorway has been converted into a window, framed by flat pilasters and a cornice supported by brackets. This building is part of a group of listed buildings along High Street, extending up to and including No 118.
