Description

Garden Cottage, located at No. 10 Exmouth Place, dates from around 1820. The building is stuccoed and features a low-pitched hipped slate roof and a brick basement. It stands two storeys high with a semi-basement and has two large sash windows with glazing bars, along with a lunette window in the centre of the first floor. The central doorway is adorned with a gabled wood trellis porch. The cottage is built at right angles to the road and has additional sash windows with glazing bars in the end wall. The stuccoed brick chimneys complete the exterior. Garden Cottage is part of a group with No. 9.
