Description

West Hill Cottage is a building dating from around 1830. It is finished in stucco and features a hipped slate roof. The cottage is two storeys high and three windows wide, with modern two-light casement windows that include glazing bars. A notable feature is the trellised wooden gabled porch, which has a tent-shaped roof and a finial. The porch leads to a round-headed doorway that has a semi-circular fanlight with glazing bars and a six-panel moulded door. There are brick chimney stacks located at both ends of the building.
