The cottage has one window on each storey, with cornices on volutes, and the windows are three-light casements. There is a plaque inscribed "Rookery Cottage" located under the eaves. To the right, there is a lean-to extension. The solid porch, which has a pitched roof and a pointed entrance, faces north.
