Description

This is a pair of 18th-century cottages located at 15-17 Hill Street. They are built under a single hipped roof covered with tiles. The exterior is stuccoed. The cottages are two storeys high and have a facade five windows wide. Number 15 retains two original sash windows with glazing bars; the remaining windows are later restorations, though the first-floor windows have decorative heads and cornices above the eaves. There are three doorways, each with pilasters and a pediment. The doors are six-panel, with numbers 16 and 17 featuring fielded panels.
