Description
These are two semi-detached cottages located on Commercial Way, dating from the early to mid-19th century. They are stucco-faced and have slate, hipped roofs. The cottages are two storeys high and rectangular in plan. Each has one window on each floor; the upper windows have architraves, while the ground-floor windows have cornices supported by consoles. The window sashes are of a 6x6 pane design, with authentic glazing patterns. The entrance to number 302 is on a return side and features a six-panel door beneath an arched head, with a window above. The entrance to number 304 is via a 20th-century door leading into a single-storey extension to the east. The interior has not been inspected.
