Description

1 and 2 Garden Cottages are an early 19th-century pair of houses. They are finished in stucco and have a tiled hipped roof. The cottages are two storeys high and feature four windows. The windows are sashes, with some having glazing bars while others have been replaced by casements. The sills are supported by small console brackets, and the ground-floor windows have vermiculated keystones. The doorways are topped with narrow rectangular fanlights and cornices that rest on consoles. Nos. 1 and 2 (Garden Cottages) and No. 3 (Garden Cottage) form a group, with No. 3 being of local interest only.
