Description

Nos 1 and 1A Exmouth Place are an early 19th-century stuccoed building. The roof is slate and hipped. No 1A, which faces south, has two windows arranged within raised surrounds, with glazing bars. A small circular window is centrally positioned on the first floor. The ground floor has a pilastered doorway with a pediment and side lights.

No 1 is located to the east, at a lower level, and is two storeys high. It features glazing bars in its windows. Only one ground-floor window is present. The return wall facing Exmouth Place is of exposed red brick and contains two windows. On the first floor are two sashes, while the ground floor has a later square bay. This bay includes a wooden balcony above and a glazed door to the side, set within a flat brick arch with a keyblock. A band runs along the floor level.
