Description

Nos 1 and 1A on Low Pavement feature a facade from the late 18th century or early 19th century. The building is made of painted brick and has a moulded eaves cornice. It has a slate roof with end chimneys and stands three storeys tall. The facade includes two sash windows with stuccoed lintels, where the top half of each window has glazing bars. On the ground floor, there are two shop fronts that have a cornice and end consoles. The shop front of No 1 is paired with mirror bands below instead of pilasters. Both Nos 1 and 1A have an eastern side door with a rectangular fanlight.
