Description

No. 4 Central Pavement is a late 18th century to early 19th century building. It is constructed of red brick and features a moulded wooden eaves cornice, with a slate roof and end chimneys. The building has three storeys and three windows. The second-floor windows are unbarred sashes, while the first floor has modern glazing in the former sash spaces, with stuccoed lintels above. The ground floor includes a late 19th century to early 20th century shop front that retains its cornice and end consoles, along with a modern fascia board and shop windows.
