Nos 1 and 1A Guildhall Street are late 18th century or early 19th century buildings that stand three storeys tall and are constructed of buff brick. They feature a tiled roof with a bracket eaves cornice. The front has four sash windows with intact glazing bars, and the first floor includes a three-light bay window. On the ground floor, there are early 19th century shopfronts. The building has a rounded corner that faces Orange Street. Nos 1 to 10 Guildhall Street form a group.
