Description
No 1 Palace Street is a building from the mid to late 19th century. It has three storeys and is constructed of buff brick, topped with a tiled roof featuring four gablets. The building has four sash windows with only vertical panes. On the first floor, the double-hung sashes are set within stone architraves that include cornices and pilasters. The ground floor is distinguished by a stone string course. This building is listed as Grade II due to its group value with Nos 1, 2 and Nos 4 to 8, which form a cohesive architectural group.
