Description

58 Palace Street is a late 18th-century building that stands three storeys tall and is constructed of painted brick. It features a coping at the top. The facade includes two sash windows set within moulded architraves that have verticals only. On the first floor, there is a recessed French window framed by an inverted bow, which is supported by pilasters, a cornice, and two plain columns. A modern wrought-iron balcony is present above this window. The building also has a later shopfront. Nos 50 to 61 Palace Street form a group with Nos 14 to 244 Sun Street.
