No 2 Palace Street is an early 19th-century building that has been altered. It is three storeys high and constructed of buff brick, featuring coping at the top. The building has three sash windows with vertical bars, which are set in cambered recesses on the first floor. There is a late 19th-century shop front with panelled risers. This building is listed for its group value alongside Nos 1, 2, and Nos 4 to 8, which form a cohesive group.
