This is an 18th-century building of three storeys constructed from painted brick and topped with a coping. It features two sash windows set within moulded architraves, some of which retain original glazing bars. A later shopfront has been added. The building is part of a group with numbers 50 to 61 Palace Street, and numbers 14 to 24 Sun Street.
