Description

No. 9 Waits is an early 19th-century building that stands three storeys tall and features two windows. It has a hipped tile roof with projecting bracketed eaves. The building is constructed from gault brick and has a plain band at the second floor level. The first-floor windows are recessed sash windows with segmental brick arches and original glazing bars, including margin lights. The wooden shop front has a bracketed cornice, although the shop window has been altered. This building is included for its group value with Nos. 7 to 9, which form a cohesive group.
