Angler's Rest Hotel features gates and piers that date from the late 18th century. The building is two storeys high with attics, constructed of gault brick and topped with a tiled mansard roof. It has three windows with flat red brick arches and original glazing bars, with the middle window consisting of three lights. The entrance includes a round arched doorway adorned with a patterned fanlight. There are also three flat-topped dormers. An addition at the west end includes gate piers that are topped with vases.
