Description
This is an early 19th-century building, originally with two storeys and two windows, extending with a five-window return to St George’s Terrace. It has a slated hip roof with projecting, bracketed eaves. The building is constructed of gault brick, incorporating gauged flat brick arches over recessed sash windows featuring original glazing bars. A square-headed, recessed doorway is topped with a console-bracketed pediment. Number 4 St George’s Terrace is part of this structure. The building is included on the list for its contribution to the group value of the surrounding buildings, alongside numbers 7 and 9.
