Description
This is a late 18th-century house with minor 20th-century alterations. It is constructed of painted brick with a plain tile gambrel roof, featuring two rear wall stacks and dentillated eaves. The house is two storeys high plus attics.
The front facade has two windows. A central doorway features a panelled door with an overlight, both set beneath a segmental arch. Flanking the doorway are single 12-pane glazing bar sash windows, also set within segmental arches. Above, there are two similar glazing bar sashes beneath flat arches. The attic space is lit by two raking dormer windows, each containing a 6-pane glazing bar sash. The gable walls and the rear of the building are blank.
Inside, a dog-leg staircase exhibits stick balusters and square newels with slightly moulded caps.
