Description
No. 3 East St Helen Street is a mid-19th century building with a brick front that is part of an earlier 17th or 18th-century house. It has two storeys and attics, topped with a modern tile roof featuring one gabled dormer that is roughly rendered and has a modern casement window. The building has a brick dentil eaves cornice. On the upper floor, there is one window with a flush frame, a segmental brick arch, and a double-hung sash without glazing bars. The ground floor features a shop window with a rectangular wooden frame and a small wooden cornice. The building has a rendered plinth and a modern door that is framed by panelled pilasters and long plinth blocks, topped with a small hood supported by plain brackets. Nos. 3 to 7 (odd) form a group.
