Description

Number 7 Market Place is a building dating from the late 18th century or early 19th century, with a core that originates from the 17th century. It is constructed of painted variegated brick. The ground floor features a modern shop that has been built out. The roof is half hipped and gabled, covered with tiles. The windows are fitted with modern glass casements that sit under flat brick arches. The shop front is also modern. This building, along with numbers 5 to 9 and the County Hall, forms a group of significant structures.
