Description

No. 8 Ock Street is an 18th-century building constructed of chequered brick with a tiled roof. It features two gabled dormers and casement windows, along with a coved wooden eaves cornice. The building has four windows with brick flat arches, stucco keystones, and moulded flush frames, all fitted with double hung sashes that include glazing bars. On the ground floor, four plain pilasters support an entablature, although the glazing bars here are modern. The shop front has been updated for a bank. Nos. 2 to 8 (even) and 12 to 16 (even) are part of a group.
