Description

Nos 2 and 4 Ock Street is an 18th-century building that stands three storeys tall with a slate roof. Number 2 is constructed of brick and features two windows on the upper floors, which are in moulded wood flush frames with double hung sashes and glazing bars. The first-floor windows have a frieze and cornice above them, while the ground floor has modern windows. Number 4, which is part of the same building, is made of painted brick. It has an early 19th-century canted bay window on the first floor, framed in wood with four recessed panels at the base. There is also one window on the second floor that has a carved stone label above it. The side of the building is rendered. Nos 2 to 8 (even) and 12 to 16 (even) are recognized as a group.
