Description
The Grapes Inn is a building located on the south side of High Street, dating from the mid-19th century, though it may conceal an earlier structure. It stands three storeys high with a gable facing the road. The exterior is rough rendered and features a moulded wooden eaves cornice and a blocking course. On the second floor, there is one window without glazing bars, accompanied by a frieze and cornice. The first floor has three windows, all with frieze and cornice, with the central window consisting of two lights. The ground floor includes a fascia board and two three-light windows, along with a double three-panel door. The Grapes Inn is part of a group that includes Nos. 20, 24 to 28 (even).
