Description

No. 28 High Street is part of the premises of The Grapes Inn. It likely originated in the 17th century but was modified in the 18th century. The building has a gable end facing the road and features rough rendering with a timber frame. There are two windows on the upper floor, which are double hung sash windows with flush frames and glazing bars, accompanied by a frieze and cornice. On the ground floor, there is a double hung sash window flanked by pilasters, along with a panelled door situated beneath a fascia. Nos. 20, 24 to 28 (even) and The Grapes Inn form a group.
