Description

No. 4 The Square is a building with origins dating back to the 16th or 17th century. It features a timber frame and has 18th-century window designs. The structure is two storeys high, with a central gable facing the road. The upper storey is roughly rendered, while the ground floor is made of brick. There are two double-hung sash windows with glazing bars on the upper level, and the ground floor includes two shop windows with glazing bars and a part-glazed door that steps down. This building is part of a group that includes Nos. 4 to 7 in consecutive order.
