Description

Nos 1 and 1A on Castle Street are early 19th-century buildings that stand two storeys tall and are constructed of white brick. They feature a parapet with stone coping and a plain moulded cornice. On both the first and ground floors, there are two cambered sash windows. The buildings also have stringcourses and two cambered doorcases that include fanlights. Nos 1 to 9 and Nos 12 to 24 on Castle Street are part of a group.
