Description

Mount House is a late 18th century building located high above and set back from George Street. The ground floor is finished in stucco, while the upper floors are weatherboarded. It features a tiled hipped roof and stands three storeys tall. The façade includes three sash windows with glazing bars, set in flush moulded casings. The central doorway is framed by pilasters and topped with an open pediment, which has a segmental fanlight with a small keystone. The door is a late 19th century panelled design. There are brick chimney stacks present on the building. Mount House is part of a group of listed buildings along George Street.
