Description

This cottage, located approximately 20 metres north of Walnut Tree Cottage on Clares Green Road, dates from the late 17th century. Originally built as a cottage, it now serves as a garden store and playroom. The structure is timber framed with painted brick infill, and the north gable is entirely made of painted brick. It features a thatched roof that is hipped to the right and gabled on the left. The cottage is a single storey with slightly irregular front elevation, which includes two 19th-century casement windows; the window on the right is a sliding type. There is a simple planked entrance door on the left.
