Description

An 18th-century cottage located on the east side of Shinfield Basingstoke Road, near Three Mile Cross. The cottage is constructed of painted brick with an old tile gabled roof and has flanking chimneys. The road-facing facade has a plinth, a string course marking the first floor, and toothed eaves. It features two bays of 19th-century wood casement windows, each with two lights and Venetian shutters, and a central 6-panelled door. The door is sheltered by a wood-gabled porch with an old tile roof.
