Description
Nullis Farmhouse is a mid-16th century farmhouse constructed with a timber frame, featuring sections of brick infill, wattle and daub, and weatherboarding. It has a half-hipped roof covered with old tiles and a rectangular plan consisting of four framed bays. The building stands two storeys tall and has one 19th-century chimney on the north roof slope, which has an offset head and clay pot. The windows are casement style with irregular placement, and the farmhouse is adorned with moulded barge boards.
Inside, the timber frame is nearly complete and mostly exposed. The roof features queen post trusses with large principal rafters, clasped purlins, arched braces, and wind braces. The large principal beams on the ground floor are chamfered with diamond stops. At the time of inspection, the farmhouse was semi-derelict.
