Description

The Post Office and Newsagent is a small house that has been converted into a shop. It dates from the 18th century and has been altered in the 19th and 20th centuries. The building is constructed of painted brick and features an old tile gabled roof. It has two storeys with flanking chimneys. The front facing the road has brick dentil eaves and two pairs of coupled sash windows on the first floor. The ground floor includes a projecting shopfront from the 19th century, which has been altered in the 20th century, and features a pent roof.
