Description

Corner Cottage is an 18th-century cottage located on the east side of Main Street, Adstock. The building is constructed of whitewashed roughcast with a thatched roof. There are stacks to the gables and to the left of centre, with the right-hand stack being external. The right-hand bays feature a band course and a buttress to the front corner. The cottage is one-and-a-half storeys tall and has three bays. The right-hand bays have 19th-century wooden casement windows; the ground floor has 3-light windows, while the windows in the thatch are paired. A four-panelled door is set within a 19th-century whitewashed brick porch, which also contains a single casement window to the right.
