Emmas End

Emmas End is a cottage dating from the mid-18th century, with some alterations made in the 20th century. It features painted render over timber-framing on a brick plinth, topped with a thatched roof and a brick gable stack on the south side. The cottage is a single storey with a two-room layout.

The main front has a slightly off-centre doorway with a plank door. To the left of the door is a three-light casement window with leaded diamond glazing, and to the right is a similar but slightly smaller two-light casement window. The north gable wall is blank.

On the rear, or west facade, there are two single-light casement windows, also with leaded diamond glazing. Attached to the south side is a rendered addition with a plain tile roof, and there is a modern 20th-century extension at the rear.
