Description
Emmas End is a cottage dating from the mid-18th century, with some alterations made in the 20th century. It features painted render over timber framing on a brick plinth, topped with a thatched roof and a brick gable stack on the south side. The cottage is a single storey with a two-room plan. The main front has a slightly off-centre doorway with a plank door. To the left of the door is a three-light casement window with leaded diamond glazing, while to the right is a similar but slightly smaller two-light casement window. The north gable wall is blank.
On the rear, or west facade, there are two single-light casement windows, also with leaded diamond glazing. Attached to the south is a rendered addition with a plain tile roof. At the rear, there is a 20th-century black painted flat-roofed wooden extension, which is not considered to have special architectural interest.
