Description

Dalvington is a cottage dating from the early 18th century, with 20th-century alterations and additions. It features a light scantling timber frame with irregular rendered infill panels and a tiled roof, along with rebuilt brick stacks at the gable ends. The cottage has two structural bays, and the main elevation faces southwest, displaying two pairs of regularly spaced casement windows on both the ground and first floors. A central gabled brick porch, added in the 20th century, includes side casements and a planked timber door. There are also 20th-century extensions to the rear and side elevations.
