Description

The Well Cottage is a 17th-century cottage located in Suckley Green. It features a timber frame with rendered square infill panels and a tiled roof. The south end gable has an external rubble chimney and a bread oven, with a rebuilt brick stack. The cottage consists of two structural bays and has a doorway with a lean-to porch at the south gable end. It is a single-storey building with an attic that includes dormers; the main elevation has two ground floor casement windows and two gable dormers with casements. Inside, there are stop-chamfered main beams. There is a 20th-century two-storey extension added to the north end and to the rear.
