Description
The Thatched Cottage is a cottage dating from the late 18th century, with a 20th-century extension. It is constructed of mud and stud with colourwashed brick. The cottage features a half hipped thatched roof with a single ridge stack and has a lobby entrance. It is a single storey with a garret and has a five-bay front. The doorway is located to the right and has a plank door with a segmental head. To the right of the door, there is a single two-light casement window, and to the left, there is another single two-light casement window. The 20th-century brick extension to the east includes a single two-light casement window. The west return wall has a single two-light casement window with a three-light casement window above it, both featuring segmental heads.
