Description
Firsby Lodge is a cottage built in the late 18th century, with an extension added in the mid-19th century and some minor alterations made in the 20th century. The original structure is made of mud and stud with a clay pantile roof, which replaced a thatched roof. The extension is constructed of brick and also features a pantile roof. There are two brick chimney stacks on the building.
The main front of the cottage has an off-centre doorway that contains a 20th-century half-glazed door. To the right of the door is a single plain sash window, and to the left is a 20th-century casement window. Above the main entrance, there are two dormer windows, each fitted with a two-light casement. The right-side addition features a canted wooden bay window, with a single 20th-century casement window located above it.
