Description
Rebeccas Cottage is a cottage that has been converted into a house, dating from the early 16th century with 20th-century extensions. It features a timber frame with painted brick infilling and brick extensions to the north and south. The roof is gabled and covered with old tiles, and there is a chimney on the left side. The building is L-shaped, consisting of a two-bay hall house and a two-bay crosswing, and it stands two storeys tall. The west front has irregularly placed 20th-century wood casement windows, and the entrance door is located in the 20th-century extension to the right. Inside, much of the timber frame is exposed, showcasing arch and wind braces, while the joists on the ground floor are chamfered with stopped ends.
