Description
The Old Dutch House is a cottage that has been converted into a house. It dates from the late 16th century and was altered and extended in the mid-20th century. The structure features a timber frame with painted brick infill and has an old tile gabled roof. It has a long rectangular plan with extensions at the rear and stands one and a half storeys tall. A tall chimney with a clay pot is located on the roof slope facing the war memorial.
On the north-west front, there are late 19th and early 20th century casement windows, some of which are leaded. The house has three gabled roof dormers; the left one is larger and contains a three-light window, while the other two dormers have two-light windows. The ground floor has a variety of window placements within the timber framing, including one two-light window and one four-light window on the right side, as well as two coupled two-light windows near the center. The later section on the left is set back slightly and features a small three-light window on the ground floor and a similar window on the upper level. The interior has been significantly altered, with little of the original building remaining visible.
