Description

Oldfield Cottages consist of two cottages dating from the 18th century, with alterations made in the 19th and 20th centuries. They are constructed of red brick, including some vitreous headers, and have an old tile gabled roof. The cottages adjoin the Ringers Public House to the right, which is listed separately. They have a rectangular plan and are two storeys high, with three bays. Two ridge chimneys feature offset heads and clay pots. The windows are 19th-century casements, with three windows on each floor, and cambered heads. The cottages have two plank entrance doors; the door to No. 1 has a cambered head.
