SHINFIELD CUTBUSH LANE (south side) SU 76 NW 8/15 Barn approx. 50 metres south of Oldhouse Farmhouse

Large barn. Early C19. Timber framed with brick aisles, old tile half hipped roof. Rectangular plan of 8 framed bays with aisles on north and south; 2 hipped waggon entrances on south. Fine frame of large section timbers, 2 sets of butt purlins, king post roof braced on each side to lower purlin. Large posts with square jowls. Included as a good complete example of an early C19 barn.
