ARBORFIELD AND NEWLAND SU 76 NW 8/3 Remains of Old Church at NGR SU 7495 : 6802 26.1.67 II

Old Parish Church, now a ruin. C13 with later additions probably of early C18. Original church flint and chalk, later work in flint and stone and in stone. The church is roofless and many of the walls have fallen. Part of the remaining south wall forms the north wall of a small mortuary chapel. Some of the monuments now in the Church of St. Bartholomew listed 9/16 B.O.E. (Berks) p.66.
