Description

This barn, located approximately 20 metres north-west of Beanoak Farmhouse, dates from the early 18th century. It features a timber frame with some brick infill and weatherboarding, topped with an old tiled gabled roof. The structure consists of five framed bays and has a hipped midstrey that has been significantly altered on the south side, with aisles on either side. Inside, the barn has a queen post roof supported by straight braces and posts that do not have jowls, with clasped through purlins.
