Description

This barn, located approximately 45 metres northeast of Beenham's Farmhouse, dates from the late 17th century. It features a timber frame construction, is weatherboarded, and has an old tiled gabled roof. The barn has a rectangular plan consisting of four framed bays, with a midstrey and an aisle on the southwest side. Inside, there is a queen post roof with clasped purlins, and the principal rafters maintain a constant thickness throughout. Notably, there are no jowls on the posts.
