Description
White Cottage is a 17th-century cottage that was altered in the 20th century. It features a timber frame with painted render infill and is underbuilt in painted brick. The cottage has a hipped old tile roof and a rectangular plan, likely consisting of three framed bays, with extensions at the rear. It stands two storeys high and has four chimneys, all with offset heads and clay pots. The south-facing front of the cottage is symmetrical, with three bays and three-light windows on the first floor. In the center, there is a pair of fully glazed and leaded entrance doors, flanked by three-light windows on each side. There are small lean-to extensions at each end. An inspection of the interior was not permitted at the time of the survey.
