Description

Stanlake Farm Cottage is a 17th-century cottage that has been altered in the 20th century. It features a timber frame with painted brick infilling and an old tile gabled roof. The east front has two framed bays with large straight braces on the first floor, and there are two-light casement windows between the framing, along with a door set in a 20th-century hipped brick porch. A chimney is located on the ridge at the right. Inside, the fine timber frame is exposed, and the joists have chamfers and carved stop ends.
