Description

The Thatch Cottage is a late 16th-century cottage located on Southbury Lane in Ruscombe. It features a timber frame with plaster infilling and a thatched gabled roof, which has flanking chimneys, one of which dates from the 17th century. The cottage consists of two framed bays and includes a small thatched kitchen or barn extension to the southwest. It is one storey high with an attic. The entrance front has two 19th-century ground floor casement windows and a door at the west end.
