Description
Tudor Cottage is a 17th-century cottage that has been altered in the 19th and 20th centuries. It features a mix of timber framing and painted brick, topped with an old tile gabled roof. The building has a rectangular plan with an outshot at the rear and stands two storeys high. A chimney is located on the ridge to the right of the center. The first floor has three bays of 19th-century two-light casement windows, while the ground floor has similar windows that are taller, along with a 19th-century bow window on the left, which is adorned with reeded pilasters and a small moulded cornice. To the left, there is a small 20th-century extension with a lean-to roof and a Jacobean style entrance door that is sheltered by a flat hood supported by carved brackets.
